GreenHive Knowledge Café: Cross-Border Collaboration for Sustainability

Last Thursday, 19 June, the third Green Hive Knowledge Café took place online, hosted by our consortium member Team4Excellence. The event aimed to enhance knowledge exchange on strengthening sustainability education and to foster cross-border collaboration among VET providers across Europe.
Participants explored the Green Hive Project’s approach to integrating green skills into VET and were introduced to the European Contest “Sustainability: New Perspectives for a Wicked Problem.” This competition invites learners, educators, and stakeholders to co-create practical solutions to pressing issues such as waste management, energy efficiency, water use, and social inclusion.
Working in collaborative teams - Green Combs - participants engage external stakeholders to ensure real-world relevance. Their results are shared through short videos and recognised at both national and European levels.
The Knowledge Café also highlighted the our Community Platform, a digital hub for resources, collaboration, and contest participation. Through peer-to-peer dialogue, participants exchanged project ideas, reflected on future partnerships, and strengthened their role as changemakers within their communities.
By connecting people across borders, the Knowledge Café demonstrated the core mission of our project: empowering individuals and organisations with innovative, inclusive training solutions for sustainability.
