Green Hive at the PM Forum in Lugano: Lascò presents Thinking Tools for Sustainable Project Management

At the 5th Project Management Forum in Lugano, held on 13–14 October 2025, Green Hive’s project partner Lascò contributed to discussions on innovation and strategies for sustainable project management.
Gianluca Abbruzzese, Innovation Manager and CEO of Lascò, and Miriam Lanzetta, Project Manager and Head of European Projects at Lascò, delivered a session titled “The Project Manager as an Architect of Sustainable Change: New Tools for High-Impact Project Design”.
During their presentation, Lascò introduced the Green Hive project and showcased several of its Thinking Tools - innovative resources designed to support the integration of sustainability principles into project management practices. Developed within the Green Hive intellectual output “Setting Up a GreenComb: Set of Canvases”, these conceptual tools are freely available on Zenodo: https://zenodo.org/records/12530358.
The Thinking Tools provide value for individuals and organisations seeking to approach their work with a systemic and future-oriented mindset. By promoting reflection, collaboration, and strategic alignment, they help professionals manage complexity and design projects that generate shared social, environmental, and economic value.
The session highlighted how project managers, much like educators and learners in the VET ecosystem, benefit from adopting transdisciplinary approaches and tools that encourage systems thinking. In this sense, both fields share the same goal: to drive sustainable innovation through knowledge, collaboration, and adaptability.
