We are proud to present the final entries in our European contest “Sustainability – New Perspectives for a Wicked Problem”. The competition showcases the creativity, collaboration, and commitment of vocational education and training (VET) learners and educators across Europe in tackling some of the most urgent sustainability challenges of our time.
From rethinking waste and reducing energy consumption to ensuring inclusivity in green transitions and protecting water resources, these short videos present real-world solutions developed by teams working in local Green Combs – multi-stakeholder hubs established in VET centres.
About the Competition
The contest invited teams of students, teachers, and local stakeholders to co-design solutions to one of six pre-identified sustainability challenges. Each team produced a 2-minute video presenting their idea, the challenge they tackled, the people they collaborated with, and the impact they hope to create.
This is more than a competition: it’s a collaborative effort to rethink education and sustainability from the ground up.
